ARGOS Engineering has developped the Interior Lining Design for Passengers Area on various railway projects: this activity has allowed the acquisition and application of important experiences in design integrated with the development of structural profiles finalized to the optimization of interiors assembly. A tipical example of this activity is hte MLA Fleet of Ansaldobreda. For these vehicles ARGOS developped the complete design of interior lining elements in aluminium sheet, the 3D modelling of the interiors of the vehicles and the assembly of interior elements.

In the next image are represented interior lining elements in aluminium sheet with 3D modelled complex shape; these elements have been built through hydro-forming techniques.

The design of railway interiors is complete with calculations and verifications with simulation of valdalic loads accordi to applicable Railway Norms (e.g. UIC 566 OR).

From the experience in the design of interior elements and in the engineering of assembly activities was borrn an innovative fastening system by the use of rubber threaded inserts RUBBER NUT, ablo to “cut” vibrations coming from the coach structure.

ARGOS Engineering developped (for Customer COPLASS) the complete design fo interior lining with integration of vehicles plants and systems for the Project Metro Genova Ansaldobreda.
