ARGOS Engineering has gain many years of experience in design and development on HVAC Systems for railway vehicles. In 2001 we have been commisioned for the re-design of the HVAC of Tram Sirio Athens of Ansaldobreda by re-positionning of all the components (formerly fitted on the vehicle roof) inside a stand-alone module; this experience brought Argos to be commissioned for all the activities linked to the design and lay-out definition of the Chiller air conditioning plant inside the vehicle with Type and Functional Tests in Climatic Chamber on several vehicles of Tram Sirio Fleet.
Starting from 2003 Argos has developped the plant engineerization on variuos Sirio vehicles like Naples, Bergamo, Guthenburg: for the latter, we have managed design and prototype of Driver’s Cab HVAC with Climatic Chamber Tests.
ARGOS Engineering was also committed by Ansaldobreda for the design and development of the distribution system of air conditionned for vehicles Metro Los Angeles, and for the 3D modelling of air ducts on V250 complete with CFD analysis.
